Bare, but for the dust and mold
Warmth has given way to cold
All laughter gone, no voices sing
No door to knock on, bell to ring
Silence fills each passing day
I wonder where my people stay
I long for footsteps, breath and dreams
The salty tears, the happy screams
Oh, how the children stomped on me
And oh, the pleasure of turned key
Now all is gone, I stand alone
I’m but a house, no more a home

I feel nostalgia for a home not mine. Knowing what you’ve been through, this feels like a corner poem of your life.
Where are you living now, Rhonda? They kicked you out of the trailer, didn’t they?
You really are as beautiful inside and out as a rainbow. The person who brought you to me was a myspace friend for a very long time until she blocked me..oops! But maybe her purpose and time was served by leading me to you. How I wish we can meet! I am blessed to know you!
and may all of us whos hearts have been so torn and scarred be blessed with the wisdom to appreciate every little thing we have and of course everyone. We know more than most that it can be taken away overnight.
I love you girl. Bet the Doktah does too sha.
